Stix is one of the strongest believers in the direct-to-consumer approach.
It has hit upon the idea that most golfers aren’t that good or measured to professional level.
Stix has zoomed in on this and created products for beginners and mid-handicap players.
The build quality of their products is exceptional, and the value can’t be ignored.
Apart from this, the Stix golf club set strives to look the part of serious equipment without hurting your pocket. It is a working formula.
Everything about Stix is adorable. It is minimalist yet stylish.
Slick design, longer distance, and top value are some of the attributes that can perfectly describe the Stix golf set.
Their clubs are lovely and clean-looking, and they come in a variety of sets: the 9, 11, and 14.
You can also purchase different options of the clubs alone or as a set. The golf bag is adorable, too.
Let’s not reveal everything in the introduction. We will discuss in detail the various aspects of Stix golf throughout the article.
At the end, you should be able to make a decision on whether Stix golf is for you or not. So, stick along to learn more.
About Stix Golf
Stix Golf is a respectable direct-to-consumer brand that makes high-quality golf clubs with a premium feel.
One notable thing about their offers is that they are fairly priced.
Essentially, Stix is selling quality golf clubs that they claim to offer performance at par with what is offered by big-name brands at nearly half the price.
For around $1k, you can get an entire set of golf clubs that are decent. We will review these clubs in the next section.
What Is in the Stix Golf Clubs Set
In this section, we are going to break down for you every aspect of Stix golf clubs. In this case, we are talking about the 12-club set.
Overall, Stix clubs certainly have the cool factor, thanks to their matte black finish from driver all the way to the putter.
These clubs are ideal for golfers with average to high swing speed. You can also customize these clubs at no extra cost.
So, let’s analyze each club and bag and then summarize later about Stix golf clubs performance:
Driver

We love the driver because it is an incredibly offset club that produces straight shots.
While there is no adjustability on the clubhead, there is 10.5 degrees of loft here, which is plenty for beginners and average players with mid-swing speed.
With a 460cc clubhead and an impressive anti-glare design, you are getting the same technology that is found in premium drivers at a lesser cost.
In terms of distance, this driver can drive almost similarly to other drivers.
Though during our test, we drive about 10 to 12 yards less than what we normally do with other premium drivers. This is not much, though.

Fairway Wood and Hybrid
The set comes with a hybrid and two fairway woods. The 3-wood and 5-wood are easier to hit; that is why it took us a few swings to get our timing down.
However, we prefer the 5-wood and hybrid instead of the 3-wood.
The reason is that the 3-wood might not be ideal for golfers with slow swing speed. It only has 16 degrees of loft, making it hard to launch.
Irons

Beside the driver, Stix irons are sleek-looking.
They feature a minimalistic design and still have some offset. It seems Stix designed these irons for golfers looking for custom specifications for less.
It is also suitable for players that need distance and a forgiving club head with a low center of gravity.

Wedges
The wedges are one of the favorite parts of the Stix set, especially if you are a beginner.
So, if you don’t have a top-quality set of wedges, it might be the right time to try Stix wedges.
The good thing with these wedges is the clean blade-style look, perfect for loft gapping and just enough for spin and control. They are also lightweight.

Putter
Generally, putters are personal. You either like them or you don’t.
Luckily, the Stix putter inspires confidence, as they offer stability, consistency, and a clean look.
We also love it because of the large grip, which enhances stability on shorter putts.

Golf Bag
Finally, the Stix golf bag is impressive from all angles.
It is a gray stand bag with pockets. The color ensures that it doesn’t get dirty easily.
Moreover, this piece is sturdy and can hold all your clubs quite well.

Review of Stix Golf Clubs
First Impression
The package contains the new set of 12 clubs plus a bag.
This is a shift from the standard set of 14 clubs.
The idea is to offer golfers everything they need to go out and have a fun game.
The set includes:
- Driver
- 3 wood
- 4 Hybrid
- 52, 56, and 60 degree wedges
- 6 iron – PW
- Putte
Sadly, they remove the 5 wood and 5 iron. But the good thing is that you can purchase them separately to make it a full set.
Visually, the set features their signature look, i.e., matte black. We know black isn’t everyone’s taste. Thankfully, Stix recently introduced a matte silver style to match the traditional golf clubs.
Other than his, the set looks very sleek and super modern. Of course, it doesn’t look anything like your typical sets of clubs. So, expect to get some attention while playing with these clubs.
Build Quality
Slix clubs excel in terms of build quality. The irons are super with a slight offset to them.
Similarly, the wedges are stunning and look like they can compete evenly with premium brands. Apart from these two, the woods are of top quality.
We almost assume that the woods are like those of other manufacturers. Usually, manufacturers skimp on cheap build quality in favor of other things like aesthetics.
But the Stix woods felt just as high quality as the irons. Our shots on the range during the test confirmed this.
As if that was not enough, Stix seems to have spent most of the time constructing the putter. It stole the show.
A perfect balance and beautiful milling on the face. It is something in between a blade and a mallet.
Let’s not also forget the quality of the bag. The stand bag is not cheap either. Even without testing, it is evident that the stand and backpack straps are sturdy.
Likewise, the pockets and zippers offer everything that you need to protect your valuables.
Playability and Feel
This is also one area where Stix golf clubs shine. It was one of the easiest sets of clubs to hit.
The irons got up in the air effortlessly while the fairway was easy to hit. We had no problem getting the club on the ball. It also had a great feel at impact.
While distance on the irons was not the longest we have ever hit, it was more serviceable. They were also consistent.
We love the fact that most of them flew straight because most of the hits had perfect contact.
We also noted that Stix’s driver and woods felt solid at impact. Never experienced anything like crummy, tingly-sounding hybrids and fairway woods like other packages, but they had an exceptional feel.
It is also important to note that the driver distance was ample. While it may not level up with some top brands, Stix’s driver stuck well, and it was forgiving.

So, yes, they are good for beginners.
It is probably the best package set that you can spend your money on due to their fair pricing.
Not only will you have aesthetically appealing clubs that inspire confidence, but also a set that performs exceptionally well.
We say so because of generous forgiveness on mis-hits.
It also makes a round of golf easier than when you use other club sets.

Stix has been successful in driving the direct-to-consumer action with their golf clubs.
But that is not the only contributor to its success.

Overall, beginner golfers and middle players will hit the Stix golf clubs much better than experienced golfers.
It seems Stix tried to penalize experienced golfers.
